Gameday Broadcasting

Aaron Cassady started The Gameday Broadcasting Sports Network in 2009. Seeing the need to enhance the vastly 'under-covered' high school sports scene in central Ohio, Gameday Broadcasting was formed. Gameday's mission is to enhance the interscholastic athletic experience for the student athlete and the communities they live. This is done by providing the radio play-by-play of games, streaming them online.  We believe businesses shouldn't exist merely for a profit, but just as important to make a positive impact on society and the constitutes it serves.

In 2009 Gameday Broadcasting covered the State Champion- The Hilliard Davidson Wildcats. For the 2010 football season, Gameday Broadcasting moved to New Albany, becoming the radio voice of the Eagles. Starting in the 2013 football season Gameday added to it's radio network becoming the voice of the Columbus Academy Vikings and the Gahanna Lincoln Lions.  2014 saw the addition of Hilliard Bradley.  Gameday expanded once again, adding Dublin Jerome and Bishop Hartley in 2017.  In addition to the 'local' broadcast of each school, the Gameday crew also hosts two high school football shows on 98.9FM in Columbus Ohio.

Our goal is simple, we want to build a community around high school sports, by providing a media service that has a ‘hometown’ broadcast feel- while ensuring a professional broadcast. All of the staff at Gameday Broadcasting have their ‘day jobs’, but we have a passion and love for high school sports and broadcasting. We hope to paint a picture with our 'voice', to make the listener feel as if they were there watching the action. Gameday's ‘voice’ has become a cornerstone for high school sports in central Ohio.
